Caribou Lodge serving dinner Thursday - Monday from 5 - 10 pm.
The Hideout Grill & Bar located on the third floor of
the New Gun Barrel Lodge is now serving lunch daily starting at 11:00am-3pm
Sunday thru Thursday and Friday and Saturdays 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Bar
hours 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday thru Thursday. Friday and Saturdays
10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Stop in and enjoy great food, drink and a
beautiful view of the ski hill!
Alpen Inn Tavern and Grill located on Alpen Road, just a short drive (or shuttle bus ride) from anywhere on the mountain, or ski to the front door. Located directly on Flintlock trail. Sunday-Thursday: 10am-12am (midnight) Friday-Saturday:10am-2am Lunch served from 11am-5pm Dinner served from 5pm-9pm.
Black River Valley Pub offers food , drink,
entertainment, and nightly specials. Located a short distance from the
ski area on Black River Road. Open Tuesday-Sunday 4:00pm - 2:30pm.
Free Shuttle bus service from anywhere on the mountain. Follow them on

Brews & Munchies
Big Powderhorn Cheese and
Gift Haus stocks a wide range of groceries, beers and wines,
cheeses and exclusive Big Powderhorn Mountain ski souvenirs.
Stop in for Kids Happy Hour - FREE ICE CREAM Saturdays 4-6. Located at the
base of chair #4.
*Note: Michigan State Law prohibits serving alcohol before 11am Central Time on Sundays or from 9pm Christmas Eve until we open on Dec 26th.
Off The Slopes
The Caribou Lodge features a swimming pool and sauna. Both open at
12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. but are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Wolverine Nordic cross-country trail system features 19km of trails with access points in the village and at the top of lift #4.
NIGHT LIFE
Caribou Lodge featuring live music or DJ's on most weekends starting at 9pm.
The Hideout Grill & Bar located in the New Gun Barrel Lodge will have live music or DJ's on selected weekends.
Black River Valley Pub offers nightly specials and live
entertainment on many weekends.

Visitors named us "Most Family-Friendly Resort" and "Best Downhill Terrain" in the midwest and ranked Big Powderhorn #2 Overall in Michigan in 2009 and "Best Downhill Terrain" in 2010! No other resort in the Western U.P of Michigan has gained these honors. Our grooming department takes great pride in the snow conditions that are prepared each and every night for our guests to enjoy the next day.
